Yes. It cuts a 4x6 print into two 2x6 strips, so a roll of 4x6 media gives you 1,400 strips. That is the classic booth format and it needs no separate media.

4x6 and 6x8 as media formats, plus 2x6 strips and 6x6 squares cut from them. There is no 5x7 on this printer.

Around 12.4 seconds for a 4x6 print and up to 290 prints per hour. Slower per copy than the DS620, but it reloads half as often, which on a long event usually matters more.

The DS-RX1HS is the high speed revision of the DS-RX1 and the one still in production. Listings that say DS-RX1, RX1HS or DS RX1 HS are all referring to the same current machine, and a DNP printer roll bought as DS-RX1 media fits it.
